Some first reports or summury conclusions are published in Apontamentos de Arqueologia e Património, available online.
The case of potery, there are two papers in AAP3 and onother in the Vispasca 1(II serie) and in proceedings of several international congresses of archaeometry.

As to the ivory, we do have the results, but they are not yet published in detail.

PS - When I say that "bell beaker arrive" I don´t necessarily meen that they couldn't be produced there. I meen arriving historicaly, as a phenomena, as a new style with its meenings. The production or importation, that has to be established by archaeometrical and stylistic studies, as it is being done.A.C.Valerahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17649871137132088749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5594105636223883163.post-6590422702023598272011-05-17T12:47:53.670+01:002011-05-17T12:47:53.670+01:00I found the text "MARFIM NO RECINTO CALCOLÍTI...I found the text "MARFIM NO RECINTO CALCOLÍTICO DOS PERDIGÕES (1): “LÚNULAS”, FRAGMENTAÇÃO E ONTOLOGIA DOS ARTEFACTOS" I guess my first question is answered...JTeresohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16376341674056968369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5594105636223883163.post-55174591587118966892011-05-17T11:09:57.190+01:002011-05-17T11:09:57.190+01:00"Apart from local materials, we should highli..."Apart from local materials, we should highlight the presence of idols made of limestone and ivory, bell beaker pottery, copper and gold artefacts. Analysis showed that the ivory is from African provenance."

I have just two questions:

1. Are the analysis done to the ivory already published? Where?

2. You seem to consider the bell beaker pottery non local. This is just a general consideration regarding the bell beaker pottery types as having been developed elsewhere or actual nalysis have been done to the Perdigões' pottery, suggesting its non local production, as in other 3rd millenium BC sites.

Congratulations for the blog.JTeresohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16376341674056968369noreply@blogger.com
